NATIONAL PARKS

Welcome JUNIOR RANGERS!

You and your team have been appointed as Junior Rangers of an Australian National Park! Your job is to become experts in ONE National Park (NP) that your group choses to research.

In your groups will have to RESEARCH the following things about your NP:
  • Location (where is your NP found?)
  • Fauna (what animals are found in the NP?)
  • Flora (what plants are found in the national park?)
  • Environment (Desert? Tropical? Savanna?)
  • Climate (weather)
  • Things to see and do (why should people visit the park?)
  • Aboriginal Connections (What Aboriginal groups use/used the land)

With the information you research you will create a ‘mini-ranger station’ to present on Ranger Day.

You will get more information about your ranger-station SOON!
Today your job is to choose a National Park to become experts on!
